Directions to the Municipal Building: 
From Lehighton - take 443 heading west past WalMart; turn left onto Gilberts Hill Road (right next to closed gas station / mini-mart); follow straight onto Municipal Road - office is in green cement block building at top of hill (chainlink fence before building)
From Tamaqua - 309 south to 443 east; turn right at 1st light; follow to Y - stay left at Y - follow to 1st left (in sharp curve); turn left at stop sign; take 1st road to left (Municipal Road); straight at stop sign; follow to green cement block building on right.
From Palmerton/Bowmanstown - 248 to Bowmanstown exit; turn left at top of ramp; turn left onto 895 at stop sign; go straight at stop sign in village of Ashfield; follow 895 to 1st road to right (Berger Creek Road - green sign "Municipal Building" at each turn from here on); stay on Berger Creek Road, take 1st road to left (Ben Salem Road); take first road to right (Evergreen Road); turn left at stop sign onto Municipal Road; office is green cement block building at top of hill.

As time permits we are updating our website to provide you with as current info as possible.  New software will hopefully allow us to post forms, minutes and ordinances to the website - it will take time to accomplish our goal.  If you do not see the info you need contact the Township Office.
