The East Penn Police Department provides services to approximately 2400 Township Residents.  The police department currently consists of one full-time and three part-time officers. 

Sargeant Al Beishline was hired full-time in July 2006.  He previously served the township in part-time capacity prior to his full-time appointment.  Sargeant  Beishline plays an active role in traffic enforcement in East Penn Township and represents the department on all County wide DUI Task Force Details.  He has numerous DUI Arrests and drug arrests.  He is an active member on the Carbon County Drug Task Force and has expressed an interest in becomming a K-9 Officer for the Department.

Officers  James Danner, Brian Price and Diane Fisher all serve the township part-time.
